The Sarasota International Design Summit is taking place at The Ritz Carlton, Sarasota and the Ringling College of Art and Design campus on October 27 – 29, 2008.
This year’s theme, Design + Technology: Visual. Social. Mobile., will afford us the opportunity to engage in a multidisciplinary conversation among designers, technology professionals, business and nonprofit leaders, and academicians about the new media, information visualization, social networking, and mobile technologies are having in our spheres today. Our goal is to marry inspiring talks about what the future holds for designers in the world of Web 2.0 with some practical takeaways and case studies about what’s working now.
