Hello, 2009 NFPRA Board and Volunteers!

Thanks to all of you for your commitment to serve in a leadership capacity for our North Florida Chapter in 2009! I appreciate the time and talent you will (and in many cases, already do) contribute to our chapter's success.

I wanted to get our annual retreat and strategy session on the books as soon as possible. Please review and let me know if you can make it. Past President and Assembly Delegate Rebecca Hart, APR is offering her home in Neptune Beach for our session. We'll have breakfast-type foods starting at 8:30, with meeting business to start at 9 and continue to no later than 1 p.m. And believe me, I am committed to that time, since there is football to be watched that afternoon. :)

Our activities for this session are (1) to do a little networking, especially with some of our new board members and chairs, (2) to present our 2009 committee plans (which should be drawn up prior to December 6), and (3) to discuss housekeeping/logistics issues (forms, board meetings, yadda yadda). Fear not, I'll be providing more details on the plans soon, as well as a contact list so everyone knows how to get in touch with everyone else!

As true PR professionals, our plans should be reflect research findings. Luckily, we will have data from our annual survey by November to ensure our plans address member needs and growth initiatives. Stay tuned for more info on the survey.
